Millions of students have used the Career Key in its standard paper and Internet forms. Now, it is available through ASCA in a paper, 20-page notebook version that includes a summary of Holland's career theory, the Career Key test, and proven career exploration activities -- all written in a style and reading level that students enjoy and understand.

It uses the standard Career Key test -- the same self-scoring, high quality measure of Holland's personality types that counselors know so well.

Unlike invalid measures that mislead and frustrate students, more than 20 years of research stand behind its validity, reliability, and helpfulness. And, it takes only about 15 minutes to complete -- leaving ample time for other career guidance activities during a class period.

The career exploration activities are organized by these headings: Further Career Exploration, Keep a Career Portfolio, Learn More about Yourself, and Make a Good Decision. It is fully integrated with the popular self-help modules at the Career Key website. The possibilities for involving students, parents, teachers, and others are endless.

It works well with the ASCA National Model for school counseling programs. We will show you how at Achieving the ASCA National Standards.
